& Game Review |
| The
books is very interesting to read with very good artwork.
Well-rounded characters but stories too predictable. and
is still too specialized.
|
Bastion
Press has put out a second book in its legends collection.
The 15 characters presented here have a complete description
including short, but full histories. Each one includes
3 possible hooks to include them in a GMs adventures. Each
one is interesting by itself. |
The
problem, as in the previous volume, is that while they
are quite interesting they are difficult to incorporate
into a campaign. But, the lower levels and obvious NPC
status of most of the new batch make it a bit easier to
work with, though it's still lacking somewhere. |
| Conclusion |
Like
its predecessor, this is a good read. But, it doesn't seem
useful enough for the average player to buy. I think this,
like the first book, might be used by a DM for ideas. However,
it is better than the first and if you have the money and
are looking for some mildly original concepts this would
be it.
